Seasoned to Foster

Extraordinarily Yours

As I write this, I am watching this beautiful baby, sleeping so angelically in her swing. The sight of her immediately brings a smile to my face.

I’ve been told that I’m smiling a lot more, these days.

There is so much to write about, and I was anticipating more time to do so, after our long vacation. But, mommy-hood came so soon. (Well, not counting the years in waiting.) I knew once Scott and I became licensed to Foster, that it could happen any day. But, I was so used to waiting for everything monumental in my life; I didn’t realize that it could happen so fast.

Big Brother? What the heck is that?

Extraordinary Living

Dear Mommy’s Friends,

I’m very VERY concerned for my mommy and daddy. They are both acting very strange, and I’m not sure how to handle things.

First off, a few weeks ago, mom and dad DISAPPEARED INTO THIN AIR! For like 2 weeks! Mom-mom and pop-pop stayed with me at the house. I took really good care of them. I made sure to eat all of Mom-mom’s delicious spaghetti. I also took pop-pop to the park, every day. I know how important it is for us, guys, to get out of  the house, sometimes.

OK, We NEED to Catch Up

Extraordinarily Yours

So, it’s a little after midnight, but I promised myself that I would write this week. Over the past 2 weeks, I’ve reconnected and/or heard from several old friends, former students, former teachers, etc. that have “found” me via LE Woman! I wouldn’t call it coincidence, but I know that I need to catch up with you, too!

SOOOOOOO much has happened in the past few weeks, and I need to share. I’ll do this in my nerdy-list-format..

The Curtains are Finished! So, as you may already know, I finished my curtains for the family room at The House on High Street. Overall, I’d give myself an A-. They certainly look beautiful. That I will say. I gotta upload some pictures before posting more on this subject. (Yes, I’ll disclose how I totally messed up on the last panel.)
